About Author

LEE CHILD

These are best called thrillers and in 2012, Tom Cruise starred as the primary character in a film titled, simply, "Reacher." With each these accolades one might believe Lee Child was created for a writer. However, as generally is the case, his success story has lots of twists and turns that guide him on the road to writing his best-selling books and to finally create this sexy personality.

In Age 20, in 1974, Child entered Law School at Sheffield, England. It's said he never planned to really practice law. Upon graduation, he chose instead to have work in commercial tv and combined Granada TV in Manchester. Child could wind up working for 18 years prior to being fired as a consequence of "corporate restructuring" Throughout this time he wrote innumerable commercials, news reports and trailers. It was 1995 and Child had been 40 years old. After buying six bucks worth of paper and pens, he decided to try his hand at composing. Lee Child subsequently wrote his initial Reacher book, "Killing Floor." Reacher books aren't the only functions that Lee Child has printed. He's also composed the brief stories, "Second Son" and "Deep Down" All these are currently available as eBooks.

That is where he met his wife Jane. It's to her his 2012 publication, "A Wanted Man" is committed. Child additionally counts his many plane rides involving both domiciles because his "third residence." His brother, Andrew Grant can also be a thriller novelist.

In his spare time, Child loves to see, listen to songs and see the New York Yankees. He had been chosen President of the Mystery Writers of America at 2009.

Never before has one personality -- particularly from a publication -- turned into this enigma. As one reads those books, a direct image of that Jack Reacher is and what he looks like could be visualized. Jack Reacher has his very own biography and figures. He had been born October 29th without a name. This is referenced several times during the novels. He's a large man -- exceptionally large and menacing -- weighing between 220 and 250 lbs. and standing 6 and a half feet tall. His torso is 50 inches round and he wears a size 3XL coat and the inseam on his trousers steps 95 centimeters. Both his mother and his dad and his brother are deceased. Reacher left home in age eighteen and graduated from West Point. He served 13 years in the Army rebounding from Major down to Captain and eventually back up to Important before leaving the service in 1997. Reacher doesn't have drivers license, receives no Federal advantages and won't file taxes. It's often wondered exactly what he can for money. He's a decorated army serviceman. To say he's special "abilities" is likely an understatement.

In lots of the books, Reacher is at the wrong place at the wrong time but ends up with his abilities to resolve even the most dangerous circumstances. In "Killing Floor", by way of instance, the first of the Reacher books, Reacher is arrested for murder soon after coming in Margrave, Georgia. The victim happens to be his own brother that he hasn't seen in seven decades. It doesn't help that the primary eyewitness appears to be the police leader that claims to have observed Reacher in the scene. Reacher knows that he was boarding a bus in Tampa at the moment. Obviously this happens in a period of just 3 days. This superb adventure readily captivates the reader and makes a connection with Reacher which is really hard to forget.

At the next Reacher book, "Die Trying," a Chicago dentist is assaulted and thrown into the back of his car. Coincidentally, Reacher along with a girl he doesn't even understand are taken hostage at the light of day. Ever the gentleman, Reacher was just "by" this girl because she was limping and fighting on her crutches and of course he stopped to assist her. Turns out she's a FBI agent. They're taken hostage for ransom. Collectively, Reacher and this girl must work collectively and function as a group to escape their predicament. As just Reacher can perform, he relates to the particular woman and uses his charm and humor, and of course his incredible intellect and techniques, not to just make them out safely, but also take the offenders.

The good thing about Lee Child's Jack Reacher books is they may be read in virtually any sequence. Lee Child supplies enough background in every publication to deliver the reader present without seeming repetitive and redundant.

With every one of these exciting, often crazy and at times unimaginable scenarios which Jack Reacher finds himself just during the course of the everyday life, it's not difficult to determine how a reader could get sucked , and actually not mind. It's what makes each and every publication special. It's what makes Lee Child a really talented master .
